Handlebar Bag Support
Keep your bag up
Bikepackers and roadies alike love a handlebar bag for stashing extra stuff. Nobody loves what it does to their paint. The Fauna Handlebar Bag Support gives the bag a solid platform to rest on, keeping it off your head tube and out of your front wheel, with extra stability on rough terrain.
It's made from 5 mm 304 stainless steel with a black sandtex powder coat, similar to a pickup truck bed liner. The finish hides scuffs and is easy on your bag.
All you need to install it is a multi-tool. If you've ever adjusted your stem, you can do this.
We've tested the support to 6 kg and recommend 3–4 kg for everyday off-road use. The stainless construction is durable, has excellent fatigue life, and if it gets bent in a crash it can be straightened without failing.
Which size is right for me?
The support comes in two sizes. The short version suits stems under 60 mm, which covers most mountain bikes. The long version suits stems 60 mm and longer, which covers most road and gravel bikes.
Either will work for many riders. It comes down to how much clearance you want between the bag and the head tube. The short version is a little stiffer under heavier loads.
Compatibility
Works with most modern bikes with a threadless 1-1/8" steerer. It won't work with bikes that route cables along the steerer, which includes most high-end road bikes. Bikes that route cables through the headset and out at or above it may be compatible. Contact us if you're not sure about your setup.

Lateral Stability
Supports like this often shift side to side until they no longer sit parallel to the bars. We've addressed that three ways:
- Oversized platform. More surface area for the bag to rest on. Strap it down with bungees or zip ties.
- Nylon stabilizing strap (included). The toothed slots work like a backpack adjuster. Run the strap over your bars and stem for lateral stability and extra load capacity.
- Kitty Collar (sold separately). Clamps to the steerer and keys into the support so it can't rotate.
How it's made
Manufactured in British Columbia, Canada, from domestic and imported material.
