XL Cargo Cage
We're moving to our new East Vancouver shop! Orders placed now will be fulfilled within 1-2 weeks.
Our biggest cargo cage
The Fauna XL Cargo Cage is a super sized version of our original cargo cage. It's excellent for carrying huge dry-bags on your fork, with plenty of support.
We've finished it in a black sandtex powder coat, the same durable speckled texture you see on off-road pickup truck accessories. It hides scuffs, reduces bag wear, and is more environmentally friendly than anodizing or painting.
The all-metal 304 stainless construction is durable and has incredible fatigue life. Accidents happen, and stainless can be bent and straightened without failure.
Compatibility
The XL Cargo Cage fits any standard 2,3 or 4-bolt M5 bottle mount (64mm spacing). With a cage of this size, it's crucial to consider the strength of your bottle mounts, particularly on carbon frames. Consider contacting your frame manufacturer if you are unsure.

How it's made
The people behind every Fauna product are based in Vancouver. Final assembly, quality control, packaging and fulfillment are all done in-house at our factory. We source as much Canadian content as possible, but since Canada doesn't produce stainless steel domestically, we partner with manufacturers in both Canada and Asia to produce metal components to our specifications. That portion of the process is largely automated and requires minimal human labour.
We think this balance lets us maintain a supply chain we're proud of while keeping our products accessible. Down the road, we hope to bring more of our production in-house.
