Carry more stuff

The Fauna Cargo Cradle adds real carrying capacity to almost any bike. It combines our Handlebar Bag Support, an XL Cargo Cage body, and the Kitty Collar into one modular system that's stable, light, and quick to set up.

It mounts to the steerer rather than the handlebar, so the load tucks under the bar instead of sitting out in front. That keeps the bike stable and leaves room for your hands, especially with narrow drop bars.

It also makes a great support for large handlebar bags. The cage carries the bag's weight from below, so it doesn't sag, rub the tire, or wear the paint on your head tube.

The included Kitty Collar clamps to a 1-1/8" steerer and keys into the Handlebar Bag Support below it with two steel pins, so the cradle can't rotate.

The support and cage are 304 stainless steel. It's durable, has excellent fatigue life, and if it gets bent in a crash it can be straightened without failing.

Compatibility

Requires a threadless 1-1/8" steerer with at least 13 mm of spacers you can remove. Not compatible with bikes that route cables along the steerer, which includes most high-end road bikes. Bikes that route cables through the headset and out at or above it may be compatible. Contact us if you're not sure about your setup.
